I was wondering if anyone knew of someone I could commission to make a kigurumi for me. I'm looking for a Kaiju (from the recent movie Pacific Rim) and I'm pretty awful at sewing.
Hey, I'm kind of in the middle of making a kigu and wondering...for those of you who make your kigus....do you line them? If so...with what? I'm not currently lining mine, but I figure I'm not that far into it...I can if I really need to. What say you guys? I'm making mine with fleece so my only concern is that if I line it it's going to be very warm to wear.
i am a growing teenager currently 5'1ft (155cm)and around 98-100 pounds. and i am having trouble picking what size i should choose for a kigurumi.
i am currently looking for some at ebay, and the one that i have my eyes on is cheap plus it doesn't have one size fits all so i'm kinda ok with that. i was first thinking about getting small but i don't know if i am going to grow into it. all i am practically worried about is that if i get a medium it will be TOO baggy and probably hit the floor.
and i am most likely going to get a giraffe one but not the one with the mouth hanging off the top (i am picky ; A;) and the material is coral fleece.
(btw i know kigus are supposed to be loose and a little baggy, but im just worried if it would look TOO baggy.)
k thanks byeee
First off, I'm wondering what fabric would be best to use? What fabric is used for the winter and spring style kigus? Also, I'd like to put elastic around the ankles (maybe the wrists) and wondering if anyone knows/has a tutorial showing how to do that?
Any tips would be great, thanks!
